Every few months there is always a new mascara on the scene, thicker, longer and more powerfull than ever ! Beauty companies invent new names like milliondollar eyes and push up drama. Whatever macara you prefer to use here are some simple hacks to improve your beauty routine πŸ‘πŸ˜˜

To revive old dried up mascara boil some water and put it in a cup then add your mascara for a few minutes. This should do the trick !

For fuller thicker looking eyelashes apply your mascara over the top of your eyelash a d brush down… then do the nornal brushing up the way.. repeat on next eye and wallah.. beautifull eyelashes (just be careful while brushing down the way lol πŸ˜‚)

Dont pump your mascara wand in and out the tube a lot as this is what dries the formula out by letting air in.

Before applying your mascara if you like to use eyelash curlers…..give them a heat with your blowdryer then curl. Be carefull about how hot they are though !

Always use Q tips to remove any stains around your eye. Do it quickly though as you dont want to be wiping hard and spoil your mascara.

*DIY cleansers are best kept in glass jars or bottles which you seal for further useΒ πŸ˜‰

Honey, Lemon and Coconut oil

Combine 2 teaspoons honey, 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil. Warm it up between your fingers, then smooth a thin layer onto your face and neck. Leave the mixture on for 5 mins only, then wash off with warm water.

Olive oil with lavender oilΒ 

Take 2 teaspoons of olive oil and put in a cup or container, add a drop of warm water. Then add lavender oil ( 2 drops) mix thoroughly.Β  Then apply to face. Leave for 5 minutes. Wash off with with warm water and face cloth.

Rose and Aloe vera
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 tbsp rose water
  • 1 tbsp aloe vera juice
  • 1 tbsp vegetable glycerin

Combine all ingredients into a small jar and shake to emulsify. It is best to store the cleanser in a dark glass bottle. Can be stored for 2-3 weeks.Β Massage a small amount into skin, working in gentle circles for 30 seconds. Remove with warm wash cloth.
